He has had 15 years of experience in the financial industry and was awarded the CMSRL license from the Securities Commission of Malaysia (โSCโ) while he was the CEO of VCB Capital Sdn Bhd, and also had worked with Saturna Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Saturna Capital based in Bellingham, United States. Saturna Capital owns one of the largest Islamic funds in the world with assets under management of more than USD 16Bil. Amir has also worked with RHB Islamic Asset Management as Fund Manager, managing funds of more than MYR 1.6Bil. He secured funds from the Perak State Govt.

He has been involved in the alternative investment industry since 2012 where he helped his clients to gain better yield in their investments. He has promoted and marketed offerings such as Landbanking, profit sharing from agriculture and aquaculture projects. He has a passion for investments and has a firm believe that everyone must have multiple sources of income from investments. He also takes his own medicine by investing in the investments first, experiencing it, verifying it before promoting to investors and agents. Apart from having a wide network of high networth clients, he has managed accumulated assets of excess of RM100Million. He currently serves as one of the Directors in Citadel Trustee Berhad where his contributions lie in business development, marketing and administration.
